Giron Development & Building Ltd is an Israel-based international real estate company, which is engaged in leasing income-yielding properties, management and maintenance of properties and project development.

Giron Group is owned by Destiny Group which is a company privately owned by Mr.Roichman and Mr.Ovadia. Destiny Group owns real estate properties in Israel and the UK.

Destiny (20%), along with properties and buildings (20% I.D.B Group) and Tonstate Group (60%) ,has purchased a chain of Hilton Hotels in prime locations in the UK.

The hotels are operated by Hilton management for a period of 30 years and they include:

• Hilton Metropole London -1054 rooms as well as a convention center.

Just 10 minutes' walk from the West End and Oxford Street, the Hilton London Metropole hotel boasts 40 conference rooms for 3-3000 guests. Meet colleagues in the Executive Lounge or relax in the gym, pool or sauna. Dine on international cuisine at Fiamma Restaurant or sample Asian Fusion favorites at Nippon Tuk.

• Hilton Birmingham Metropole – 794 rooms as well as convention center.

•  Hilton Cardiff (Wales) - 250 rooms in center city

Privately Owned, Publicly Traded
Giron built up a portfolio of 10 highly-profitable income-yielding properties in Israel during its first 15 years of operation. Dr. Arie Ovadia, one of the most respected members of Israel’s business community, Chairs both Giron and serves as a Director and Chairman of several of Israel’s leading companies. Giron’s Managing Director is Avi Roichman, a highly experienced real estate entrepreneur.

The company’s portfolio of income yielding properties throughout Israel includes:

• Ashkelon Shopping Mall:
  

Well-established shopping mall in one of Israel’s major southern cities with space rented on long-term leases to anchor stores, retail outlets, restaurants, cafes and more.

• Assuta Hospital: Located in Rishon LeZion, south of Tel Aviv this Medical Center is leased to Assuta under a long-term lease agreement.
  
  
• High-Tech 1,2: Located in Rishon LeZion, this high-tech park is leased to advanced technology companies in Israel’s flourishing telecom and electronics sectors.
  
  
• Giron 2000:
  
  Also located in Rishon LeZion, this industrial and commercial complex is leased to Israeli firms.

• Strauss Logistics Center, Akko: This spacious logistics center in northern Israel is leased in its entirety to the Strauss Group, the country’s second largest food manufacturer.
  
  
• Giron Center, Ra’anana:
  
  This four-floor shopping mall in the center of the country is leased to retail outlets and offices and also serves as the company’s headquarters. Giron has recently completed the development and sale of a major four-floor medical center in Ashkelon. 
  

International Activities


UK

In recent years Giron has acquired a portfolio of properties in the UK, which are rented on long-term leases to blue chip companies such as NCR Scotland and NCP.

• NCP: Giron owns 8% of land leased to National Car Parks (NCP), which has approximately 130 car parks around Britain with an annual rental in excess of £40 million, increasing 2.7% annually for 33 years.

• Scotland: Giron owns 42.5% of a property in Dundee, the NCR Building, with an annual rental of £1.5 million.

Poland

• Warsaw: A subsidiary, IIC, is developing a major commercial center in the Polish capital. The first phase, a 20,000 square meter store, has been sold to French DIY chain Leroy Merlin. The company has currently finished building a 13,000 square meters commercial center, which are  all rented. 

• Krakow: In partnership with Israeli firm Ortam Sahar, Giron has purchased two plots in Krakow for the development of up to 2,500 housing units.
  
  Romania
  
• Bucharest: Giron recently completed the construction of a 4,500 square meter commercial center together with Aura Developments.

• Snagov: The firm has purchased land together with Aura Developments in Snagov, north of Bucharest, for the development of approximately 300 housing units.
  

• Tiblisi: Together with partners, the company recently won an auction for 122 hectares of land in Tblisi. As of now, Transaction has not been completed.
